Industrial hygiene
Many of services and testing that we state herein this website as performing are defined as industrial hygiene.
Industrial hygiene had been defined by OSHA as that science and art devoted to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace, which may cause sickness, impaired health and well-being, or significant discomfort among workers or among the citizens of the community.”
We use environmental monitoring and analytical methods to detect the extent of residential occupant and worker exposure and employ engineering, work practice controls, and other methods to control potential health hazards.
These measures and tests as already noted may apply to hazards such as air contaminants, aerosols, dusts, fumes, mist, fibers, gases and chemical hazards, as well as bio-risk such as mold or fungus, bacteria, viruses and other living organisms.
